Alexandra "Ali" Barros was a cum laude graduate from the University Of Tennessee with a double major in Public Relations and Political Science in December of 2015. During her time in college, she was placed in the coveted Communications Department Public Relations Internship Program where she worked in publications at the University Relations office under Director, Bud Grimes. She was selected out of a pool of national applicants to work for the College Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. under National Communications Director, Carolina Hurley. She served three terms as Vice Chairwoman for UT Martin College Republicans. She was also actively involved on campus in Zeta Tau Alpha (Delta Mu), St. Jude Up Til' Dawn, Skyhawk Veteran Association, National Honor Society of Leadership and Success, Media Design Club, and the Public Relations Student Society of America. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering at Red Fern Animal Rescue and Redemption Road Equine Rescue.
Ali began traveling for Ram Trucks (Fiat Chrysler Automotive) with the Attract Agency Las Vegas, NV as a promotional specialist and spokesperson for Ram Trucks and Jeep in February of 2015 during her junior year of college. Ali spent three years traveling for FCA at special events across the United States. In 2017, Ali worked as the Marketing Representative for the Mid-South Horse Review while she attended graduate school at Union University in Germantown, TN. She completed 18 hours towards her Masters Of Arts in Education - History and Government at Union University. She was a student teacher at South Side High School in 2016 (12th Grade, Government and Politics). Although she is no longer pursing a teaching career, she values the experience she received during the MAED program.
On January 1, 2018 Ali launched Barros Sporthorses, LLC previously based in Eads, TN and currently based in Ocala, Florida. Ali offers a horse sale and training program [more information can be found under "Barros Sporthorses" tab].
In 2019, she spent the year on a travel team as a Product Specialist for Mercedes-Benz USA. While living in Nashville, Tenn. in 2019-2020, Ali was represented by The Ross Agency (CA/TX) and Tribe Talent Management (TN). She worked as a marketing specialist, model/actress, and professional rider until moving to Naples, Florida in July 2020 to work for Shore Acres Farm LLC.
In December 2020, Ali moved to Ocala, Florida with her four horses. She worked as a rider/groom for Justine Dutton from January 2021-July 2021 before returning to PR and Political Consulting in August of 2021. She worked as a Political Consultant and Social Media Manager virtually for a Political Consulting Agency out of Atlanta from 2022-2023 where she focused on Florida elections and national education lobbying organizations.
Ali currently resides in Ocala, Florida with her four horses and rescue dog. She rides hunters professionally in addition to traveling to manage events and working as a signed model with The Ross Agency. She works with The Attract Agency (LA/Las Vegas) to represent brands across the US. She also works locally in Florida with marketing, political, and PR clients.
